Sometimes menstruation can be a pain – literally. Most girls have to deal with PMS, cramps, headache, or during menstruation. These problems are usually normal and nothing to worry about. Here are the facts on which period problems are common and normal – and those that might indicate that something is happening.
What is PMS?

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a term for the physical and emotional symptoms that many girls and women before their periods begin each month. If you have PMS, you may experience:
Acne
Flatulence
Fatigue
Back Pain
Chest pain
Headache
Constipation
Diarrhea
Increased appetite
Depression or feeling blue
Irritability
Difficulty concentrating
Difficulty handling stress

PMS is usually at its worst between 1-2 weeks before the girls period begins, and usually disappears when it starts.
